Learning how to dress this growing bump of mine has been a welcome challenge. I’m trying to enjoy every stage of pregnancy and outgrowing all of my clothes is just part of the fun. 🙂 So far, I’ve been wearing a lot of dresses that I already had in my closet, like this one from Gal Meets Glam Collection. This exact dress is unavailable as it’s from last year, but they just released a similar style in pink, which can be found here and here.
I never considered myself a hat person, but over the past few years I have grown to appreciate them both for looks and functionality. For me, it’s nice to have something that holds my hair in place because all it takes is one gust of wind for these straight locks to be in tangles! I was looking for a hat with a few features: UPF 50 sun protection for sunny summer days, quality that would hold up over the years and a timeless look. I decided on this one by Helen Kaminski because it checks all of the boxes and as a bonus it can be worn with the brim folded up or down.
Another classic accessory for the summer months is a straw bag or basket. I already have a couple of straw bags that I love using, including a round one (featured here) and this Portuguese reed bag (featured here). This year I added a basket bag to the collection and I think it will get a lot of use over the years! It features a removable canvas pouch which is really nice for hiding or securing the contents of the bag.
