During our stay in Italy, we spent one day on a guided tour of the Amalfi Coast. Our starting point was Positano and our final destination was the town of Amalfi. We made tons of short stops along the way, as there are endless towns and beaches all unique from one another. For the most part, I only had my camera out of the car when we stayed in one place for an hour or more. I wanted to capture everything, but after ruining a camera with condensation once before, I was not about to hop in and out of the air conditioned car into extreme heat with it every five minutes! Some of my favorite places that aren’t pictured include Atrani and Furore. I really hope we get to explore them in depth one day, and I would love to do a boat tour instead of a car tour next time 🙂

Monde et Mode | Ravello^ Some stops we made just after leaving Positano. These little fruit stands are EVERYWHERE along the Amalfi Coast! We learned about how many different types of lemons there are and how each is used.

Monde et Mode | Ravello^ Our first real stop was in the quiet town of Ravello. Tucked away in the mountains, Ravello exuded peacefulness and charm. It was a contrast to many of the bustling towns and beaches we passed on the way.

Monde et Mode | Tramonti^ After leaving Ravello, we took some incredibly winding roads even further into the mountains for lunch in the quaint town of Tramonti. This has to be one of the most serene experiences of our honeymoon! It felt like we were the only people around, and all we could hear was the sound of farm animals in the distance.

Monde et Mode | TramontiMonde et Mode | TramontiMonde et Mode | TramontiMonde et Mode | TramontiMonde et Mode | Tramonti^ We had lunch at Osteria Reale, which was surrounded by gardens and a small vineyard. There was no menu, the chef asked us what we wanted, and everything was made from scratch–you could tell how fresh the ingredients were. Of course we finished off the lunch with some fig pie and caffè macchiato.

Monde et Mode | AmalfiMonde et Mode | Amalfi^Finally, as our last stop we made it to the town of Amalfi. It was extremely hot and busy by this time, but still so much fun to explore!

Monde et Mode | Amalfi^ After a long, but exciting day we headed back to Positano. We were lucky enough to get caught up in a traffic jam created by a bus and an RV getting stuck along one of the curves of that narrow Amalfi Coast Highway! It was really entertaining to watch, but kind of scary haha. What amazed me was the entire time vespas were zooming through the middle and people were walking along the highway with no sidewalk… yikes! I’m definitely not cut out for driving  here.
